Beet Falafel Burger

Necessary raw materials:

Burger

200g of chickpea falafel mixture

300ml cold water

  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • 1 larger beetroot
  • salt and pepper for seasoning

    Avocado dip 
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • salt and pepper for seasoning
  • Hummus dip
  • 200g of chickpea hummus mixture
  • 600ml cold water
  • 60g sesame paste
  • Salt, pepper, chili pepper to taste 

To complete:

tomato, salad mix, hamburger buns 

Let's show you how to prepare it:

Mix the mixture of chickpea falafel with 300ml of cold water. Add 2 teaspoons of oil according to the instructions, mix and let stand for at least 5 minutes. Mix finely grated beets to the mixture, season with salt and pepper. Use slightly damp hands to form patties. Bake either in oil or in the oven.

For the avocado dip, mash the avocado on a cutting board and put it in a bowl. Add crushed garlic and finely chopped onion. Mix and season with salt and pepper.

We prepare hummus from a 100 g mixture. Add 400ml of water and mix until smooth. Add about 40g of sesame paste and mix again. Season with salt, pepper or chili pepper.

Take a warm crusty bun, put the prepared hummus on the top of the bun, put the prepared avocado dip on the bottom of the bun. Add tomato, salad mix and falafel burger with beetroot.

You can serve with roasted sweet potatoes, potatoes or beets.
